Missing something or someone in your life is as intense as a mermaid stranded, turned to stone, not being able to reach what they so long for - water...the ocean

I wanted to see if I could do this in something like four days to enter for a competition, the canvas is 1500 x 900 mm. although I didn't get much feedback I really enjoyed the process

People look past their actions...engrossed in societal behaviour they blanket themselves in a foolish cloak of deceit. Chasing after their gods they spread lies, the gossip spreads, masking itself in plain sight... it ends up in the mouth of the innocent and the vicious circle continues. The only hope remains a silent prayer...

This one is complicated, people read different things into this artwork, for me however, it’s all about trying to break free from that which binds us to this empty world. The hope is that we reach before time runs out so that we get to touch the healing and helping hand of G_d.

I once dated a man that was "besotted" with Formula 1 and Ayrton Senna specifically. What started out as a gift idea became a huge test of my abilities and myself as painter - some would say illustrator, that’s cool too, never the less I am proud of the outcome.
