About Me

The "stories" I tell are my perspective on the world around me, of love, life and everything else. You will find my thoughts, comments and inspiration on canvas and paper, in design, using a pen, a brush or a mouse. I am interested in so many things that you will find an ever-expanding list of creative processes in my life.

I have been designing since the eighties and my career path has taken many interesting turns. I have experience as photographer, designing and organising shows and promotions, print designer for corporate companies, working as freelancer and lecturing different aspects of graphic design. I am currently Head of creative advertising at a tertiary college.

Though it is one of the most demanding jobs on the planet working in tertiary education ...any training for that matter ... and the students drive me nuts, giving me plenty reason to visit the hairdresser often, it is still one of the most fulfilling careers to be in. I have had the privilege of playing part in the creative development process of quite a few very talented students, and since I feel a little bit like a parent, you will find a little spot of info from time to time on some of my past students.

So being involved with so many creative creatures with so many creative ideas on a daily basis, it stimulates my own creativity and in return gives me the opportunity to express myself along every avenue I find along the way.

I have many exciting plans for the future of my site so keep an eye on it. There will be art items available to order, some inspiration for my students who have asked for it, sharing of thoughts with those i know and those of you i will get to know, fellow lecturers help and advice and just a general feeling of creative "yumminess".
